*Wesley*

"Passport Please" the lady at the ticket counter said. Wes
pulled his passport out and handed it to her. "Thank you sir, Cheers" the lady said in her heavy British accent. Wesley will miss hearing that accent all of the time, but he didn't care. He
was going home, to LA. He considered that his home now.  He missed Angel and the gang. It had been three months since he has seen them. After everything that happened with Conner Angel suggested that Wesley needed a break. That is when he spent 3 months doing research with an old friend, well more of an acquaintance named Rupert here in England.

*Fred*

Fred smiled as she watched Gunn checking out the books at Angel Investigations. She considered him to be one of her closest friends. She remembered back when they used to date,
all of the good times that they had had. She remembered after Wesley left, how busy everyone at AI had become. Angel had asked more out of each of them especially her. Well as she watched Gunn, she remembered the night that Anne, an old friend of his came in hurt. When she saw the look in his eyes, her heart broke for him. It was obvious to her and everyone else that he loved Anne. He just didn't want to hurt Fred. That is when she made her decision. She told him that she would always love him, but that she was not in love with him. She never had been and he needed to tell Anne how he really felt. A few weeks later Gunn and Anne were and item. (A very cute one at that.) Well Fred thought to herself. Wesley will be back tomorrow. I hope he enjoyed his time in England.

*Wesley*

As the plane started its initial descent, Wes looked over the bright lights of LA. He had been thinking about his last few conversations with Cordy over the phone. She had told him that they were all happy that he was coming back, but there were some new organizational changes while he was gone. Wesley knew he would not be the boss anymore, but did not know what the changes were. He figured that Angel would continue to lead the company or bring someone new in. It did not matter, he was prepared to do whatever he had to do to retain their trust.  Besides, Conner turned out OK. Well he had aged eight years, but he was playing soccer and doing well. Cordy has sent him several pictures of Conner. Cordy had been a lifeline to Wesley over the last few months. She was like a sister to him. The only problem is she would not tell him what the changes at AI were. "Please do not remove you seatbelts until the plane has reached the gate" came over the intercom. Well, I am home thought Wesley. Wesley reached for his bag as the captain said "Please enjoy your stay at LA."

*Fred*

Fred could not sleep that night. She looked at the clock. It was 3:00 AM. She looked around her new apartment and started thinking about the last few months since Wes had been gone. Right after Wes left, Cordy went to visit some old friends from high school to help him over his broken engagement. She said that forgiveness is the greatest gift in life. Angel and Gunn were having to spend so much time fighting that they could not run the management portion of the company.  Cordy would still get her visions and run into the heat of all of the battles.  Angel had said that they needed someone smart and organized to take over Wesley’s job as boss. Oh, Wesley will be in the office tomorrow morning. Fred wondered what he would do when he found out the news. What would he do when he found out that she was the Boss?
